in testimony to his worldwide appeal, saeed was nominated one of america’s top100 dj’s, entering america’s best dj top 50 poll three years in a row (dj timesmagazine 2008-10) and beatport nominate him for best tech-house track (2010beatport award). saeed was also nominated for best breakthrough dj at the 2003dance star awards. these milestone events gave him the global recognition andprovided the opportunity to push his sound further and captivating audiencesworldwide. saeed has headlined at prominent clubs across the globe in exoticlocations such as ibiza, miami, amsterdam, tokyo, madrid, rio de janeir, moscowwith the list going on and on.

born in iraq but living in washington dc since the early 80's, younan grew uplistening to a variety of ethnic music. as a result, his musical soundresonates with percolating beats and sonic grooves. his production have beendubbed “timeless” by top djs and even referred to as a “change of heart fordance music.” his vision is clear, yet simply stated: “i just want people toenjoy my music as much as i enjoy playing it for them.”
